Lego Serious Play

I recently completed Lego Serious Play training for coaches which was a great couple of days learning how to accelerate discussion and surface opportunities to move forward on a personal and team level.
Whether it be for individual coaching or running a team development event, Lego Serious Play can work.
What I really like about it, is that Lego Serious Play is not only fun and inter-active but it encourages everyone to have a voice in a team event. Be it building simple models through to more complex team models it encourages wider conversation and discussion through observations about what their colleagues have built and how these can be interpreted. It also demonstrates how everyone approaches things differently, creates a level playing field and because it’s lego there is no right or wrong model. There is just your model :)

This particular model “Everyone is Awesome” resonates with me as my default position is to see the good in people, recognise individuality and celebrate difference.
It also took me back to my years running a store in Kensington when we had 31 different nationalities working in my team. I loved the energy that this brought to our workplace which could be fun although at times tricky. By respecting everyone’s nationality and taking time to involve the team in finding solutions to their respective needs it helped improve our working experience. It also helped significantly improve commercial performance whilst achieving above average employee satisfaction scores.
Getting back to Lego and how it supports individual development and team away days. Is it something that ignites your interest?
Are you ready to accelerate your personal development? Do you want to take your team to new heights of high performance and efficiency? Or maybe just have some quality time together in a productive and fun environment?
Are you ready for take off but just don't know how to get your engines firing?

If the answer is yes to any of those questions, we need to talk.
