Time. How do you find more of it in your working day?
It really can feel like there aren't enough hours in our working days. Often the answer is to work more hours or miss out activities that would be a break from the to-do list and constant workload
But digging a bit deeper and the question could be…
Time. How proactive are you in making more of it?
I sometimes hear from leaders about their calendars being filled by other people’s needs. Meeting invites for meetings they don't need to be in, or which add little return for the time spent attending. The day can literally pass with no time for planning beyond the day, week ahead, personal focus or even just time for themselves.
As leaders, making time for ourselves often comes low on the priority list. Intentions can be good with an aim that you will create some time to sort through strategy and longer term objectives. But often that calendar keeps getting booked up and the workload increases, bogged down with stuff that isn’t enabling a ‘high performance’ you.
How often when planning your time, do you schedule time for yourself? Blocking out time for whatever you need to ensure you are the most effective version of you. Maybe that run or lunchtime walk you keep promising yourself, needs to be scheduled?
When’s a good time to change your behaviour and master your time creation? As soon as possible! Block out some time, identify what needs to change to then schedule your plan to make it happen to create a consistent ‘high performance’ you.
If you really feel like this is too difficult, you want to be 'high performance' you but this won’t work for you, book a discovery call and let’s talk:
