Are you ready for take off? Destination unknown or maybe destination identified but just don’t know how to get there?

When clients come to me, it can be because they recognise they need some personal development coaching but they aren’t sure whether it’s leadership coaching or maybe career coaching. Sometimes it’s both and this may come out in our discovery call as we talk through their situation and understand their current state and where they want to get to.

The desire to move forward can be driven by the fact that someone isn’t enjoying their work and it’s causing stress and frustration with what they are achieving. Maybe they have taken on a management role and managing people has been more challenging than initially expected, or they just don’t enjoy it. It may be that with some leadership coaching sessions and learning some effective management techniques they find their work is more rewarding and fulfilling. Their business results and team performance will undoubtedly improve too!

This resolves some of their immediate issues and now sets a better platform for how they would now like their career to take off. To ‘light the touchpaper’ for future success…

Breaking down the steps and targets will help resilience as putting yourself into the job market can be a brutal business. Focusing on strengths and experience and linking this to what the future role requires starts to build a compelling candidate profile and self confidence. to feel ready to go and get that dream job!
